Rome… I mean, there’s just so much to see in Rome.
Landmarks and history out the proverbial wazoo. If you want to see ’em all… see ’em all. If you want to explore with no plan.. explore with no plan. If you want to eat pesto… good luck. Hahaha yeah, check out my Pesto Manifesto to get that joke.
Ok, without further ado… ROMA!
Yeah, this was the first thing we saw. #Pantheon #oldstuffiscool #history
Then of course you have the super famous Trevi Scaffolding! hahahaa.. yeah, the Trevi Fountain.. made a point to run by it on one of my runs, and this is what it looked like……
… I’m totally impressed…
… and there were a MILLION people there… this pic does NO justice to just how many people crammed the streets of Rome on this day.
But then again, seeing The Vatican on New Year’s Day on my run too… yeah, that was outstanding. 🙂 #fuelforthesoul
Speaking of the New Year.. we celebrated it with a bunch of Rome peeps! Lots of people in the square lighting fireworks and loud boom things.. yeah, it was cool…
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! 😀
Face-timed with Matt, Skylar, Paige, Sheryl, Brittster, and J-man.. they totally called into the future from New York to Rome.
Beautiful city in the sunshine.

When visiting The Vatican inside.. I am not kidding you, I have NEVER… I’m talking NEVER… been in a crowd that consistently big. Insane. Made it difficult to take in the art and the space, but I took the opportunity to work my being-present skills. Sistine Chapel was cool, glad I saw it (no pics allowed), but yeah, the crowd most definitely took away from the overall experience. Wow.
At least there was this guy.
This statue was cool.
Not so happy with Frank for not giving us tickets to the midnight mass at The Vatican… no big deal though, the one in Venice was amazing.
YUM. More than just pasta in Italy.
A fun night out in the New Year calls for ramping up the hotness. Oh yeah, bring it on 2015, I’m in.
Doors.
Another fountain with fun lights.
Colosseum at sunset. Just peaceful.
Colosseum inside. Honestly, even though I’m a lot OD’d on the historical landmarks, I really enjoyed going inside the Colosseum. I recommend it for sure. Just to be in it… to take it in, and imagine the history. Well worth it. (Buy tickets online in advance for SURE to skip the INSANELY long line for people who don’t do that.)
Yay! What a wonderful time in such a historic and alive place. 🙂
*NOTE: I absolutely am taking new clients while living abroad… so if you’re wanting to make some change for yourself, or just try coaching with me out to see what it’s like and what it can do for you… drop me a line, and we’ll talk. 🙂
