In my experience, this is entirely true.
It’s an oddly freeing thought to really get the truth in this.
The people we put on pedestals.. and all they’ve done.. suddenly becomes accessible.. possible.. for us too.
We are free to take chances we formerly would fear looking stupid or arrogant for even trying.. when we take chances we learn that “failure” is only ever a stepping stone to success and at every point on the path we can do so much more than we think.
